Hummingbird Electric, LLC is a full-service, licensed, and insured electrical contractor company, owned and operated by Licensed Master Electrician John Jordan, who has over 25 years of professional experience, including the completion of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union’s intensive, 5-year apprenticeship training program and mandatory continuing education. Hummingbird Electric sets itself apart by providing customer-centric service, clear communication, and our electricians are members of the IBEW and are highly skilled, background-checked, and drug-free. We would not send someone to your home or business that we wouldn't want in ours.

We respect your time and property

  • We are locally owned and operated. Hummingbird Electric is a ‘Mom and Pop Shop’ owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Margaret and John Jordan, who started the business in 2012. 

  • We always clean up and take all trash, including the old fixtures 

  • We wear shoe booties to keep your floors and carpet clean

  • We do what we say we are going to do and we communicate clearly about when we will arrive, cost, etc…

  • Our ladders are transported inside our vans, so they are clean when we bring them inside your home

  • We are efficient because our Sprinter vans are mobile shops, fully outfitted with tools and supplies to complete your project promptly

  • Our electricians are drug-free, background-checked, highly skilled, and experienced 

  • We are animal lovers and are pet-friendly 

  • We are licensed, insured, and bonded, and can pull permits for your project. Be sure to compare apples to apples when looking for an electrician.

Unlicensed ‘electricians’ are unable to pull permits and should not be doing electrical work in the State of Ohio
